Solar Panel Installation Process
More people than ever before are building solar energy systems as alternative energy sources gain popularity. Going solar is a huge decision that will have an impact on your house or business, and the process may seem difficult and intimidating.
We at METRO Solar make installing solar energy simple. Six easy phases make up our typical solar panel installation process, and we take care of all the details for you.
To help you understand exactly what to expect, we’ve broken down each phase in more detail below.
1) Get in touch with METRO Solar & Schedule your on-site appointment
Call METRO Solar at 281-916-4244 or Contact Us and send us a message or Request-A-Quote. We will answer your questions over the phone and schedule a time with your METRO Solar Solutions Consultant to meet you at your home or business to answer all your solar questions and discuss your wants, needs, goals, and objectives for going solar.
2) Review METRO Solar’s detailed, customized Solar Installation Proposal.
Two to 3 days after the onsite visit, your METRO Solar consultant will provide you with a Customized, Personalized Solar Installation Proposal that meets your requirement and criteria. Your METRO Solar expert will review and go through this proposal, so you fully understand your solar project plan and costs – and all your questions are answered fully.
3) METRO Solar Installation Agreement/Contract Signing
After you have reviewed the proposal with the quote for Solar Installation and have all your questions answered – and have decided to move forward, you will meet with your METRO Solar Project Manager and sign the solar installation work agreement. Then discuss and plan the key elements of your Solar Construction project and timelines.
4) Permitting with City and/or other Local Authorities
METRO Solar will take care of all the paperwork and permits required to be compliant with regulatory agencies. METRO Solar will order all materials, components, and equipment needed for your Solar project and finalize all remaining details.
5) Your Solar Power System Construction & Installation begins.
Work begins on your Solar Project with no disruptions to you. Your METRO Solar Project Manager will provide you with timely updates and keep you informed of all installation activities going.
6) Own Your Power! Enjoy FREE Solar Energy!
Depending on the size and complexity (and weather conditions) of your Solar Project, completion of the installation of your Solar Power system may range between a few days to a few weeks.
After passing city inspections, we go ‘live’ and turn on your Solar Energy system.
Congratulations! We will have an ‘Own-Your-Power! Flip-The-Switch celebration when your METRO Solar Power system is turned on.
